Since 2000 , There was too much concern in developing children culturally and literary . So , discussion groups were made for children’s literature in participation and presence of the writers ( Abbas and Mazen Dweikat ) and discussing some issues with the children themselves .

    From here , the idea of making a contest for writing and drawing for the whole of Huwwara’s schools ( boys and girls ) come from . This also pushes us to start preparing ( Al – Shater Muhammad ) play , which was very successful by clearing the idea of the importance of the theatre to the participants and the audience .

   These activities were performed through civilian institutions in Huwwara ( sports club , municipality , the society ) , the amount and the intensiveness of the activities encourages us to establish – Al- Ateeq Forum – as an establishment in literature and arts , to play the role in clear way and a centre for culture . This doesn’t mean canceling cooperation with other institutions .

The Forum Vision

At present  that is full of obstacles and problems for the young and the old , there should be a way to express the pain we suffer . We found the best way is through arts and literature . This is considered the most highly rank of human expression , and the most delicate and the easiest to reach the others and stays permanent through generations . So , our concern was developing .
